This page shows the instructions a customer will receive on how to install an eSIM using an activation code. You can find an eSIM's activation string in GAP, on the SIM Details screen, for example:

1$gig.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com$3SGJW06KU9HJAMTU

In this example, the SM-DP+ address is gig.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com and the Activation code is 3SGJW06KU9HJAMTU.

Before a customer starts the installation of their eSIM, they should check the following items:

  • Is their device is eSIM compatible and network unlocked?
  • Do they have a stable WiFi connection? They need a stable data connection to download the eSIM successfully. This is possible over a mobile data connection, but WiFi is recommended.

The customer will have received an email when they purchased the eSIM.

That email contains a link which opens a web page that contains the QR code, activation code, and installation instructions for the eSIM they purchased.
