My microphone volume is too low on the PS3

Go to Settings and scroll down to Accessory Settings and press X. Scroll down to Audio Device Settings and press Go to Microphone Level and increase the microphone level to 5. Scroll down to OK on the bottom of the screen and press X to save your settings.
